About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development professional with experience in payment gateway and financial technology solutions to join our fast-growing product company.
In this role, you will work closely with internal teams and global payment partners to expand our payment ecosystem, optimize transaction efficiency, and ensure smooth payment experiences for our merchants worldwide.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new payment partners (local and international gateways, acquirers, and PSPs).
- Negotiate commercial terms and maintain long-term relationships with payment providers.
- Work with internal teams (Product, Finance, Legal, and Tech) to integrate and optimize payment systems.
- Maintain the stability and reliability of all payment gateway systems
- Research global payment trends and propose new business opportunities (BNPL, cross-border, e-wallets).
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and risk management processes.
- Support merchant onboarding and handle payment-related inquiries when needed.
- Develop and execute plans for registering and utilizing payment gateways to improve payment processes, payment experience, and cost efficiency
REQUIREMENT
- 2–4 years of experience in Business Development, Partnership, or Operations in fintech, payment gateway, or e-commerce companies.
- Strong understanding of payment systems, merchant services, and cross-border transactions.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.
- Strong ownership mindset, able to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of English (both written and spoken).
- Experience working with international partners (PayPal, Stripe, OnePay, 2C2P, etc.) is a plus.
