RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and build scalable backend services for business reporting systems and internal operations tools
- Design database schemas, write complex queries, and optimize performance for reporting databases and data warehouses
- Implement caching, indexing, and data sync mechanisms to ensure fast query response and high system reliability
- Monitor system health, fix bugs, and optimize backend performance across all internal tools
- Review code, enforce engineering standards, and mentor junior and mid-level developers
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Data teams, and internal business users to turn operational needs into technical solutions
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 4–5+ years of backend development experience using Python, Golang, or Node.js (Strong Mid-level to Senior)
- Proficient in using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Cline, etc.) to speed up development, debug, and solve daily technical problems
- Strong experience with database design (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL), complex query optimization, and caching solutions (Redis / Memcached)
- Solid foundation in System Design, RESTful APIs / gRPC, microservices, and asynchronous processing using message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deploying applications in Kubernetes (K8s) environments
Nice to have:
- Experience in building or optimizing data and reporting systems (Data Warehouses, OLAP systems, and analytical query optimization for large datasets)
- Hands-on experience integrating LLM/AI APIs into production systems (RAG, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, automated data processing with AI)
