Role Overview
Key Objectives (First 6 Months)
- Build a clear understanding of target global markets and customer segments
- Design and validate go-to-market (GTM) frameworks for priority markets
- Identify and test effective acquisition channels
- Create a strong foundation for scaling Global Marketing in the next phase
- Conduct structured market research to identify high-potential regions, customer segments, and use cases
- Define clear market entry hypotheses and success criteria for selected markets
- Build GTM frameworks covering positioning, messaging, channels, and funnel structure
- Design and run marketing experiments across selected channels (content, community, partnerships, paid, etc.)
- Analyze performance data to validate, iterate, or stop initiatives quickly
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations for scaling or optimization
- Build and engage focused online communities (e.g. Facebook, Discord, Telegram) to support merchant education and product adoption
- Work closely with Product, CS, and Growth teams to align community insights with product and business priorities
- Partner with Product, Growth, Sales Enablement, and Operations teams to align GTM execution
- Provide market feedback to support product roadmap and localization decisions
What Success Looks Like (90–180 Days)
- Clear GTM framework for at least 2–3 priority global markets
- Validated acquisition channels with measurable traction
- Well-defined target customer personas and value propositions
- Actionable roadmap for scaling Global Marketing in the next phase
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in Marketing, Growth, Product Marketing, or related roles
- Experience in eCommerce, SaaS, or cross-border business is a strong advantage
- Hands-on experience in market research, GTM design, and marketing experimentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data and ambiguity
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-changing global environment
- Experience working with global or multi-market products
- Experience building or managing online communities
- Early-stage or zero-to-one marketing experience
- Short-term: Global Marketing Builder / Acting Lead
- Mid-term: Global Marketing Lead (after GTM foundation and team readiness)
- Long-term: Head of Global Marketing / Growth
